Week 8, Term 2

We had an amazing time in Melbourne looking at different schools last week.

Some highlights were:

- Personalised learning journeys for all children, including juniors
- Awesome documentation of these learning journeys
- Getting to see learning environments similar to ours, with 80 children in them
- Outdoor learning environments

And many, many more things too.

Here are a few photos from the different schools.

Week 6, Term 2

Hello families,

What a fabulous week we have had!

Matariki has arrived and we celebrated with a shared breakfast on Thursday morning. What a great way to start the day, thank you to the families who came and celebrated with us.

This week we introduced 'Personalised Inquiry Plans' for some students. They have selected their own topics to investigate and we are really excited about discussing these with you during the IEM's.

Next week we are away in Melbourne from Monday - Friday. We will be visiting schools that have similar philosophies and exciting new ideas. We will try to keep you updated through the blog! Jodie and Kerry are excited to be teaching in the common next week, they have both worked alongside our children and know them well.

Up and coming events:
  • 25th June - Parent evening 6.00pm - 7.30pm - keep an eye out for more information in our weekly newsletter
