Week 8 Term 1

Dear Families, Week 8 already and another great week of learning!!! The highlight of our week was our trip to Narrow Neck and Cheltenham beaches to walk along the rock pools. The children were true adventurers, exploring and investigating the pools, examining and sharing their finds. We were so impressed with their inquisitiveness and their willingness to roll up their sleeves and get their hands wet and sandy!!!!! We had a lovely picnic lunch by the beach followed by some time to run around and play on the sand. For those of us who still had some energy left after our long walk, we finished the day by walking up North Head and sliding down on cardboard!!! The children had so much fun!!! A big thank you to Angelique, Chantelle, Andy and Sharn for coming with us on the trip and Jasmine for helping to transport the children. Other learning throughout the week has included carrying on with our focus on instructional writing, following instructions to draw different things, carrying on and creating patterns, investigating 2D shape and writing for a purpose in our office! We are also busy testing all the children. Look out for your child's maths conference which will be coming soon. Again, we welcome you to write a comment. The children love to see your feedback. We are very much looking forward to another trip next week to Kelly Tarltons. If you have not yet returned your permission slip, please do so on Monday. Thanks for all your support. Have a fantastic weekend. Kerry and Rosie
